United Properties Awarded Sublease Assignment for ING ReliaStar’s Brooklyn Park Warehouse

MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 21, 2002) — United Properties has been awarded the sublease assignment for a 107,000 square foot block of space in Brooklyn Park formerly used as a printing facility by ING ReliaStar Inc. The sublease space is located in a portion of a modern, 180,000 square foot warehouse building in Crosstown North Business Center, located at Highway 169 between 85th and 93rd Streets.

ING ReliaStar has relocated its printing operations to another site in Iowa and will make the sublease space available beginning Sept. 1. Approximately seven years remain on the lease term. The company is able to subdivide the space for different tenants and offer flexible leasing terms, according to Chris Hickok, vice president, United Properties Brokerage Services.

“The ING ReliaStar space is located in one of the most well-appointed, contemporary warehouse buildings in the Twin Cities with great access to the Highway 169 transportation corridor,” Hickok said. “It’s an excellent opportunity for any company seeking up-to-date space for printing, manufacturing and distribution operations.”

Features of the ING space include full air conditioning, excellent lighting, existing heavy-power connections and an ESFR sprinkler system with smoke evacuation. The building is also fully painted. Duke Realty Inc. owns the building.
