United Properties Corporate Solutions Named
to Evaluate North American Headquarters Relocation
for Denmark-Based Coloplast
MINNEAPOLIS (July 6, 2006) — United Properties Corporate Solutions has been selected by Denmark-based Coloplast to provide real estate strategy, planning and management services for the relocation of its North American headquarters to Minnesota, according to Mark Houge, managing director, United Properties Corporate Solutions.
United Properties Corporate Solutions will develop a strategic real estate plan that will allow Coloplast to consolidate its three U.S. operations in Minnesota following the acquisition of Minneapolis-based Mentor. The move, announced today by Coloplast CEO Sten Scheiby and Governor Tim Pawlenty, will enable the company to consolidate its sales, marketing, research, development and production activities. As the owners’ representative for the real estate expansion needs of Coloplast, United Properties will oversee a project to design new facilities, assemble additional property, obtain governmental approvals and construct any additional facilities required by Coloplast. RSP Architects has been selected as the architect for the project and other project team members will be selected over the next several months.
