Community Involvement

United Properties provides support to community organizations both by financial and volunteer commitments.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities

United Properties employees have donated their time and talent on a number of occasions for a number of years to help the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities in their mission of promoting and enhancing the development of boys and girls.

Bridging

United Properties employees donate and deliver items to Bridging, whose mission is to provide the economically disadvantaged with a one-time gift of quality furniture and household items. The donations help to stabilize and improve lives while effectively using community resources.

Caring Tree

United Properties organizes supply drives and cash donations each year for Caring Tree, which promotes educational success for Minnesota's K-12 students in need by ensuring that they have the appropriate school supplies.

Hope for the City

Over the years, United Properties employees have brought food, personal care products and donated cash in support for Hope for the City. The organization collects overstock products from companies and corporations then distributes the supplies to non-profit organizations that serve the poor in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.

WomenBuild

WomenBuild is a great opportunity for women of different departments in United Properties to come together and help a great cause. The WomenBuild project is in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Women Venture. Women participate in all aspects of construction in a supportive and empowering environment.

Community Funds

United Properties offers financial support to community organizations through giving goals that direct financial resources to organizations serving specific communities. Our Community Funds, distributed to non-profit organizations registered as 501(c)(3) organizations, serve three categories:

  • Disadvantaged Youth
  • Affordable Housing
  • Arts and Culture
“Giving back to the community has always been important to us, and this program helps us give more context to what we want to support and be more clear about what is important to us.”
