LEED Certification for Existing Buildings
United Properties has received LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) Certification on properties and plans to continue retrofitting existing properties to meet LEED-EB requirements. Some of these LEED-EB Certified buildings include Northland Center and Southpoint Office Center.
Buildings in the United Properties investment portfolio have also earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) prestigious Energy Star, the national symbol for superior energy efficiency and environmental protection. The recognition signifies that the buildings’ energy performance rates are in the top 25 percent of facilities nationwide. The buildings that earned the Energy Star include Centennial Lakes Office Park and Southpoint Office Center.
