At United Properties, we are committed to fostering an inclusive culture — both in our external and internal work.

We’re always thinking about how to do more, and do better, for our employees and for the communities we serve. Our culture is built on respect, connection, philanthropy and volunteerism. We strive each day to create space where all voices are welcomed, heard, and valued.

Our UNITED Together Committee was founded in 2017 and meets monthly.

The UNITED Together Committee toured the historic Coliseum building on Lake Street in Minneapolis. Once heavily damaged during the 2020 civil unrest, the more than 100-year-old structure has now been fully restored and is owned by three local emerging developers.

United Properties team members visited Houston White Men’s Room in North Minneapolis’ Camdentown neighborhood—an inclusive space known for community building. The group learned about the long-standing partnership between United Properties and Houston White.

United Properties’ all-company meeting kicked off with a keynote from Jesse Ross—international speaker, executive coach, and inclusion leader—who led a thought-provoking session on “Cultural Self-Awareness as a Tool for Effective Change.”

This initiative aligns with our mission to build meaningful relationships and contribute to a vibrant, resilient business ecosystem.

Mission

United Properties is focused on increasing procurement opportunities for underserved businesses within the communities we serve. To support this mission, United Properties established an Inclusive Procurement Task Force to ensure our efforts are effective, accelerated, and sustainable over time.
