Ford Center
Former Model T plant gets $42M+ makeover.
When first built in 1912, the Ford Center was an innovative vertical-assembly automotive plant. United Properties, working with RJM Construction and the architectural firm of HGA, transformed it into an innovative, 21st century office while retaining its historic character. Most of the 100-year old windows were able to be restored and preserved. An entrance retains the train pass-through area used in the Model T assembly process. The building has won numerous industry awards.
