United Properties is proud to partner with the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Collaborative (CREDC), a coalition of companies, professionals, and industry organizations working to advance a more inclusive and representative real estate industry.
CREDC provides scholarships to students in Minnesota who have financial need and aspire to careers in commercial real estate. These scholarships, awarded each fall and spring semester, help eliminate financial barriers and expand access to the industry for promising students from underrepresented backgrounds. Since its founding in 2013, CREDC has helped dozens of students pursue education, internships, and career pathways in the field.
United Properties has donated to this scholarship fund annually, reinforcing our belief that economic inclusion starts with access to education and professional opportunity. In addition to financial support, CREDC offers mentorship, resources, and connections to help students navigate the commercial real estate landscape — fostering a pipeline of future industry leaders.
Our Director of Sustainability and Community Impact, Janelle MacLean, serves on the CREDC Committee and helps guide the program’s continued growth and community reach.
