MINNEAPOLIS (April 29, 2013) – United Properties announced today that it has hired Rick McKelvey as development manager. McKelvey will oversee development and redevelopment of properties in the Twin Cities, with a focus on retail and medical office developments. He also will oversee leasing efforts on new development projects. McKelvey comes to United Properties from RJM Construction, where he most recently served as a project executive.
“We’re pleased to have Rick on board, given his expertise in managing the construction side of developments,” said Frank Dutke, president. “He will be a valuable team member as we take on more development and acquisition work.”
McKelvey received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from North Dakota State University and has worked at RJM Construction for more than 10 years. As project executive, he was responsible for leading a team of project managers as well as taking on some of RJM’s largest construction projects from concept to completion.
