Current Responsibilities
In this role, Matt oversees the entire senior living development process for United Properties in the Colorado market, from site acquisition and underwriting to design, construction, opening, and lease-up.
Past Experience
Matt joined United Properties in 2015, bringing over 10 years of design and construction management experience from Project One Integrated Services and Turner Construction. He has an extensive background in development, covering construction management, sales, acquisitions, sourcing, underwriting, and more.
Professional and Community Involvement
Matt is passionate about sustainability and environmental responsibility, and as a LEED® Accredited Professional, he is committed to promoting sustainable design and construction practices in the community. In 2011, he served as the Co-chair of the USGBC Advocacy Committee Metro Branch and continues to volunteer with Rebuilding Together to help rebuild and repair homes for those in need.
Education
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in entrepreneurship, finance and real estate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
