UNITED PROPERTIES AND JERRY’S ENTERPRISES, INC. TO BREAK GROUND ON BIELENBERG GARDENS IN WOODBURY

Development includes a grocery-anchored shopping center, a retail building and retail outlots

WHAT: United Properties and Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. will break ground on Bielenberg Gardens, a retail development at Radio Drive and Bailey Road in Woodbury, Minnesota. Bielenberg Gardens will be anchored by a 65,000-sq.-ft. to-be-announced food store and a 6,200-sq.-ft. liquor store operated by Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. along with a 12,300-sq.-ft. multi-tenant retail building and 10 additional retail outlots.

In September 2013, the City of Woodbury approved plans for the 30-acre, up to 148,000-sq.-ft. retail project. Expected to be complete by spring 2015, the retail center and outlots likely will include retail shops, restaurants, a bank and a gas station.

ABOUT BIELENBERG GARDENS: Bielenberg Gardens is the retail component of a city-guided, master-planned development that eventually will include apartments, townhomes and other amenities. The site will be connected to the Bielenberg Sports Complex by a tunnel under Radio Drive, which further extends the pedestrian tunnel system in the area.
